So you are thinking of hiring a birth photographer to document your birth? Well, you are in the right spot! Hi, I am Nicole Streeter! My focus is being your eyes. I know when I was giving birth, my eyes were closed. I didn't know what was going on around me, and I craved that information afterwards. Not only to process this huge event in my life, but also because I was so proud of what I did. Birth is a pivotal moment in your life. We document our weddings because it signifies a change in our life, and let me tell you, birth changes us in more ways than one! I promise, you won't regret having these moments documented.

So, where do we start. First I have recently decided that I will only take births during my slow season, which is December- April. I have started taking on weddings again and being away for them is getting too hard to do with birth work. I hate turning anyone away! Ok, second, birth sessions start at $1850. Every birth session comes with a maternity session. A maternity session is where I get to meet you in person, meet your partner, talk to you about what to expect, when to call me, and make you laugh. We have fun, but more importantly, you get to know me a little better, and if you are inviting someone into this sacred space, you should probably meet them first. Some parents like to choose a package that has things like a video, or newborn sessions added in. You can see what a newborn session with me is like here. Milestone month sessions are mini sessions at 3 ,6, 9, and 12 months! These can be inside your home or outside!

Why are birth sessions so much? I am on call for you 24/7 from 37 weeks on ( and sometimes earlier!). That means I miss my kids birthdays, camping trips, Halloween, Christmas, etc. I may spend 4 hours with you or 34 hours with you. It means sleeping on floors, and eating handfuls of nuts when I can. It means holding you, helping you process, late night texts, and saying no to traveling with my family. But it also means years of birth experience, training, learning, and updating my gear. It means learning how to work with nurses, doctors, doulas and midwives. It means learning when to push and when to put down my camera. It means learning how to master working in the dark, and when I need to run to a session. Birth work is a wild ride, but I love it.

A fresh 48 Session is done at the hospital before you are discharged, but it can also be of you arriving at home, or even the next day after a homebirth. In a way, I am on call for you for these as well. We won't know when baby will arrive and have to do these in a short timeframe.

So, send me a message, and I will send you over a proposal and you can choose what you want, you sign a contract and pay a retainer, and then we wait until baby month! Oh, and if any photos don't show up, refresh your page and they will appear. Websites are weird! And my blog sometimes needs time or a refresh as well.
